The adventures of Hope and Mommy continue with - the making of strawberry jam, thanks to the amazing berries I got on the 50% off shelf at Super Store!

After the jam was safely in jars, I made myself take a break and sit down to enjoy a cup of peppermint tea and some of the fresh "jam scum" on a GF bun. :o) I think Hope wanted Cheerios and Apple Juice or something like that. :o)
It's not a lot, but it'll last us a good while and be there for creative gift-giving. :o)

Lorrie sent Hope the flowered sun dress for her 18th month birthday, but since the warm weather has left our neighbourhood I use it on Hope like a pinafore. Works great!

Hope is into brushing her stuffed animals hair these days. She also likes to blow their noses after naptime, especially if the bears sneeze! :o)

After evening devotions one night, Daddy decided Hope was old enough for a piggy-back ride!

Hope liked the idea!

It's blurry, I know, but it was just such a cute smile. :o)

Ha ha - it worked maybe too well. Josh gave her a good ride, set her down, and guess what she wanted to do then???

I think he'd tired himself out a bit, so thought he'd try the horsey back ride idea instead, but....she didn't like it quite as much. Maybe when her legs grow some more... :o)

Nevertheless, it still got a smile out of her.

Sigh. Catch your breath. This is supposed to be settle down time before bed.... yeah right. :o) At least her happy meter is full at night! :o)

What a pair. I think this was some version of the "Lie down/Sit Up" game plus "Peek-a-boo."
Enjoy the video of the piggy-back ride! The other one is a short clip of one of Hope's mealtime jokes she likes to do. :o)
You two have one adorable daughter there! Love seeing her smiles!
